Description
Gido Gido: Kaiju Battle Party is a fast-paced 4v4 online multiplayer party brawler where adorable kaiju clash in fully destructible cities. Designed for high-chaos fun, players use unique character abilities to battle rivals or fuse together into massive giant monsters featuring a hilarious shared-control mechanic. It is the ultimate casual multiplayer game built for laugh-out-loud moments and frantic teamwork.

Every Gido offers a distinct playstyle. About Myth & Mortar
We are an independent game studio based in Taiwan, and Gido Gido: Kaiju Battle Party is our debut title. Our team includes veterans of acclaimed games such as The Legend of Tianding, with producer Maso Lin, art director Ruby Tsai, and lead engineer Ayo Lin previously collaborating on the award-winning action game inspired by a real-life folk hero in colonial-era Taipei.
With Gido Gido, our goal is to create a uniquely Taiwanese take on the kaiju genre. The game draws from Japan's tradition of giant monsters, citywide destruction, and fantastical powers, combines it with an art style inspired by modern Americana cartoons and comics, and introduces a unique fusion mechanic that lets teammates merge into a single giant creature they collectively control.
The studio was founded by Kevin Lin (CEO), a co-founder of Twitch; JT Gleason (CTO), creator of Twitch Drops and former Head of Developer Relations at Twitch; and David Barthwell (CCO), a veteran of creative direction, branding, and full-stack digital production.
